Responsibilities
Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act
Excellent assessment skills
Establish and maintain a personalized Plan of care for each client
Administration of medications following physician orders
Monitor patient’s condition, notify appropriate personnel of any changes (DON, Physician, Pharmacy)
Provide services requiring specialized nursing skills with compassion
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
Requirements
Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
Minimum 1 year of work experience on your license
Reliable car/auto insurance
Clean background and criminal record
Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
Current CPR certification (ACLS/PALS optional)
ICU or Emergency Dept experience preferred
Ability to perform IV starts and maintenance of access sites
Phlebotomy skills for adults (and Children)
CVAD experience
IV Infusion Therapy, Injection Therapy, and self-Infusion training
Willing to travel to local and surrounding areas to meet client needs ( Cuyahoga, Medina, Mahoning, Portage, Summit, and Trumbull areas are served)
